Take a year off and spend it in an RV? What are we thinking? We’re thinking about what’s really important in life: spending time together, discovering new places, and learning things the fun way.
How our trip started...
Six years ago we were looking ahead to June of 2008 when Dan (after a 20-year career) would be retiring from the US Navy. We knew we’d have a natural break in our work lives, so we came up with the idea of a year-long trip around the country... seeing all fifty states in fifty weeks.
